Mike Engstrom - Co-Founder
Mike Engstrom, Co-Founder of Integrity Risk, spent 17 years in the construction industry, owning his own commercial mechanical construction company for 10 years and employed up to 100 workers at any given time. His company specialized in public works projects, specifically: schools, jails, hospitals, and military installations. He found the most success with fast track school modernizations and design-build projects.
In 2004 Mike left the construction industry and worked in real estate after purchasing a couple commercial/industrial buildings. In 2006, he returned to the construction industry on the other side of the table: serving contractors with workers comp programs and safety & risk management solutions.
For the past 10 years Mike has been providing innovative workers comp programs, almost exclusively to contractors, helping employers reduce costs while improving their safety, risk management, and overall workers comp program.
As a former employer, Mike wants to provide brokers and employers with the transparency and detail they deserve when selecting a critical & long term HR partner for their business. He believes every employer should strongly consider partnering with a PEO. While Integrity Risk’s clients generally occupy the 25 - 300 employee range, they proudly serve businesses ranging from 2 employees to those with over 1500.
Mike graduated from CSU Sacramento in 1995 and has lived in Folsom, CA since 2001. He’s married to Jennifer and they have four children: Camden, Zack, Aubrey, and Dylan.
Chris Longo - Co-Founder
Chris Longo is the co-founder of Integrity Risk Insurance Services. We partner with insurance brokers and business owners to help control insurance costs. For the past 7 years, Chris has gained extensive knowledge on traditional insurance programs and PEO solutions for construction companies across California.
Chris’ knowledge extends beyond finding the right program. He helps business owners understand the complicated insurance industry by showing them the tools they need to manage their ex mod, and drive down costs through risk management and claims handling.
Chris is a licensed Property & Casualty insurance agent and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona.
Chris has lived in San Diego since 2008, and is married to Brittinny. They have two children: Stella and Henry.
